Late in 2023, HPC Fire informed us of their decision to discontinue the Field Repair Kit, identifiable by part number HWI-913.
Upon inquiring with HPC for further details on this matter, it was revealed that the discontinuation is due to the inability to source a crucial component – the ignitor.
Regrettably, there appears to be no alternative solution.
The recommended course of action is to upgrade to a newer electronic ignition system that seamlessly integrates with your existing setup, including the pan and burner.
Your current electronic valve box should have a specification plate listing the model number. For guidance on which updated electronic ignition systems would suit your setup, kindly provide the model number found on this plate. With this information, we can identify the appropriate replacement system.
