It’s official: one of our most trusted suppliers has changed its name. American Fire Glass has evolved into American Fire Products. While the name is new, the company’s objective remains clear.

Why the Change
If you’ve been a long-time customer, you likely know them for their glass media, but the company has grown significantly beyond that. As founder and CEO, Matt Doll explains:
“Fire glass was where we started, but today, we are so much more than that.”
The new name is a better reflection of their full catalog, which includes everything from burners and pans to complete kits with complex ignition systems and protective accessories such as wind guards and lids.
What’s Changing?
The change is almost entirely visual. While the logos and boxes arriving at your door will look different, everything else remains the same.
- Manufacturing: The same facilities, the same quality products, and the same engineering standards.
- Specifications: Parts, model numbers, dimensions, and BTU ratings are unchanged.
- Warranty: Lifetime warranties previously issued under the old name remain valid.
Finding what you need
During this rebrand, you might still see “American Fire Glass” or “American Fireglass” (the common shorthand) mentioned in our older guides or technical specs. Don’t worry, you aren’t looking at an outdated version. Whether the box says “Glass” or “Products,” it is the same hardware.
