These RtF ( Ready to Finish ) fire pit enclosure allows you to rapidly complete a fire pit project with the freedom to clad the structure with the finish of your choice, matching it perfectly with its surroundings.

 

A Great Example of a Fire Pit Built Using a Form/Enclosure

 

The 72 x 72 inches unit is available in two height options, 16 and 24 inches tall. The 16-inch model does not have an access door nor storage for a Propane gas bottle.

The 24-inch tall version has a 14 x 17-inch access door, providing easily accessible storage for a 20 lb Propane bottle within the fire pit structure.

Ignition Options

The RtF kit includes a drop-in fire pit pan with a burner and all the connections required to hook up to the gas feed. They are available with five ignition options:

Match Lit

To light a Match Lit system, turn on the gas via the key valve installed on the fire pit structure and light the gas with a match, taper, or lighter. The flame is adjusted and turned off using the key valve.

Match Lit with Flame Sensing ( LC Certified )

These systems operate in the same manner as the standard Match Lit systems. However, they incorporate some sophisticated Thermocouple technology that monitors the flame.

If the flame were to extinguish accidentally, the Thermocouple would detect this and automatically turn off the gas supply. This action prevents the build-up of a potentially dangerous gas cloud.

Flame Sensing with Spark Ignition

Spark Ignition systems utilize battery power to provide a push-button ignition of the flame via a control panel on the fire pit.

These units also incorporate Flame Sensing technology to automatically turn off the gas supply if the flame accidentally extinguishes.

12 Volt Electronic Ignition ( CSA Certified )

Low-voltage Electronic Ignition systems should be utilized when the installation is close to water features, such as swimming pools, fountains, etc. Please refer to your Local Codes and Ordinances for specifics.

Electronic Ignition systems incorporate Flame Sensing Technology with the added feature that they will make several attempts to re-light the flame before shutting off the gas supply.

A standard Electronic Ignition system utilizes an on/off switch to light and turns off your fire pit. 

110 Volt Electronic Ignition ( CSA Certified )

Standard Voltage ( 110 Volt ) Electronic Ignition systems can be fitted to fire pits anywhere the power can be installed and are not close to any water features.

These 110 Volt systems also have Flame Sensing and auto re-lighting capabilities and can be upgraded with Remote Control and Bluetooth operation.

 

Accessories

Apart from the cladding, the only other item you will need is some sort of fire media. Check out the wide range on offer on our fire glass page which also includes  lava rock, lava stone and fire pit logs.
