The Tempe Hammered Copper Fire Bowl from HPC Fire is a refined design that highlights the natural beauty of hand-hammered copper. Its gently curved, round form offers a softer silhouette than deeper bowl styles, with a subtle lip that defines the edge while maintaining a clean, understated look. With a 31-inch top diameter, a 10-inch base, and a height of 10.5 inches, the Tempe requires mounting onto a pedestal or a table. Due to its shallow design, there is no provision for an access door within the bowl itself, so a gas key valve must be installed in the supporting structure below, allowing for safe and practical lighting of the burner.
Spacers are provided to raise the bowl by at least 3/4 inch, promoting airflow through the base and supporting proper cooling of internal components.
The Tempe is part of HPC’s coordinated copper collection, with matching fire and water features available for a cohesive installation. Using both models within the same space allows for a consistent design language across different zones of a landscape, particularly around pools or patios.

Select Gas Type
Natural Gas or Propane. Electronic Ignition models are not designed for use with small LP tanks and must be connected to a fixed, permanent gas supply.
Select Burner

Select Ignition
Match-Lit
Match Lit Ignition is the simplest way to light a fire feature.
Open the key valve and use a lit taper to light the burner.
Electronic Ignition On/Off
The CSA Certified Electronic Ignition (EI) System provides the highest degree of safety and control of your gas fire pit.
EI enables the user to operate the fire pit via a wall switch, timer switch, or into a compatible smart home system (not included). Alternatively, it can be through a hand-held remote control (add-on).
While you and your family enjoy the fire pit, the Electronic Ignition System monitors the flames’ status. Should a flame loss occur, the system will turn off the gas flow and automatically commence the ‘Start’ sequence to relight the burner.
A gas shutoff must be installed to ensure quick access for emergency shutdowns and maintenance; it should not be utilized to adjust flame height.
The Electronic Ignition Tempe Hammered Copper Gas Fire Bowls are available in 110VAC and 24VAC configurations. The Low-voltage option is specifically suited for installations near bodies of water, making them ideal for poolside applications.
The 24VAC (low voltage) model requires a transformer to be installed at a safe distance from the water source. HPC Fire Inspired recommends using the HPC/SEBCO 100W Power Supplies (linked below) for reliable performance and proper system operation.
