The Pismo hammered copper gas fire pit, manufactured in California by The Outdoor Plus (TOP), combines a clean linear design with a warm, hand-finished aesthetic. The hammered copper surface introduces natural variation, giving each unit a unique appearance that evolves over time.
Available in 48″, 60″, 72″, and 84″ lengths, all models stand 24″ high, making the Pismo an ideal centerpiece for both residential and commercial outdoor spaces.
This outdoor gas fire pit features an integrated access door at one end, allowing storage of a standard 20-lb propane tank (not included), keeping the installation neat and self-contained.
All products from The Outdoor Plus are custom-made in the USA, with a typical manufacturing lead time of 3 to 4 weeks.

Hammered Copper Finish
Each fire pit is individually crafted from real hammered copper, offering a premium alternative to coated finishes. The surface will naturally patina over time, adding depth and character to the finish.
Due to copper’s natural properties and exposure to the elements, the surface will gradually change to blue and green tones over time.
If preferred, the original finish can be maintained with regular care and appropriate copper treatments.

Four length options: 48, 60, 72, and 84 inches.
Gas Type
Available for use with Natural Gas or Propane. Ensure the correct gas type is selected, as systems are not interchangeable. The Propane model features a built-in access door for discreet gas tank storage. The door measures 17″ x 14″ and is seamlessly integrated into the design for both convenience and a clean look.
Bullet Burner Upgrade
The standard burner can be upgraded to a Bullet Burner, producing approximately twice the flame height. For more information, see our Bullet Burner page.
Ignition Type
There are 6 options for the Hammered Copper Pismo Fire Pit
Match Lit (LC Certified up to 65,000 BTUs)
The Match Lit system utilizes the chrome key valve installed on the fire pit structure to light the burner. Turn the key to the on position and light the gas with a match, taper, or lighter. The flame can be adjusted and turned off using the key valve.
Match Lit with Flame Sensing (LC Certified)
These systems operate in the same manner as the standard Match Lit systems. However, they also incorporate technology that monitors the flame. If the flame were to extinguish accidentally, the gas supply would be shut off. This in-built safety action prevents the build-up of a potentially dangerous gas cloud.
Spark Glow (LC Certified)
Spark Ignition systems utilize battery power to provide a push-button ignition similar to that found on a BBQ Grill, providing you with an easy and hassle-free way to ignite your fire pit.
The flame can be manually adjusted via the control panel on the fire pit.
Spark Ignition with Flame Sensing
Spark Ignition systems utilize battery power to provide a push-button ignition of the flame via a control panel on the fire pit. This unit also incorporates Flame Sensing technology, which will automatically turn off the gas supply if the flame accidentally extinguishes.
Electronic Ignition – Plug & play (CSA Certified)
Standard Voltage (110 Volt) Electronic Ignition systems can be used with fire pits anywhere that power can be installed, except close to water (see Low Voltage below). The Electronic Ignition has Flame Sensing, but in addition, it will automatically attempt to relight if the flame is blown out.
The Units can be wired up to a standard light switch, a dial timer or an emergency stop button, and a smart house system. An upgrade to include a Remote Control system is available.
Electronic Ignition – Low Voltage (CSA Certified)
Low-voltage electronic ignition systems are perfect for fire features near water, and are ideal to use with fire pits for pools. The Electronic Ignition system has Flame Sensing that will automatically relight if the flame is blown out.
The Units can be wired up to an on/off switch, a timer, a remote control, a pool controller, or a smart house system. Hand-held remote-controlled upgrades are available.
