What are Fire Pit Wind Guards?

Wind Guards, also known as Fire Pit Flame Guards are by far the most popular fire pit accessory. From a functional point of view, they work very well, keeping the flame centralized in breezy conditions, allowing you to safely and comfortably use your fire pit in conditions that would ordinarily prevent it.

They may also be considered a fire pit safety feature as they provide a barrier to the flames which is particularly appealing to parents, especially those with young children but it also reduces the chances of items being blown in during use or drinks being knocked over into the flames.

What size Wind Guard do I need?

● Wind Guards must be placed on top of the fire pit structure, and not in the burn area.

● The manufacturer recommends that the Wind Guards should be at a minimum 4 inches larger than the overall width and length of the burn area of your fire pit (2 inches at each end).
