1/4 Inch Cobalt Reflective Fire Glass

1/4 Inch Cobalt Reflective Fire Glass possesses a stunning resemblance to precious gemstones. Its numerous facets beautifully capture and reflect light, producing an array of blue shades that defy enumeration. Blue, widely regarded as the world’s most favored color, readily illustrates its appeal when one gazes into the depths of Cobalt Blue Fire Glass

Blue is a highly adaptable color that pairs beautifully with numerous other colors. Mixing different shades of blue creates a captivating effect, and combining Cobalt Blue and Pacific Blue is a favorite choice among our customers.

If you have an average-sized fire pit or fireplace, we recommend the 1/4″ size glass, which will not appear to be overwhelmed by the size of the fire feature.

You may prefer the 1/2″ Cobalt Reflective Fire Glass for use in large-sized fire features.

What Is Reflective Fire Glass?

Reflective Fire Glass has a mirrored finish on one surface, multiplying the reflections of flames and light dancing off the surface of the glass.

What Is Fire Glass?

All fire glass available on TheMagicOfFire.com is high-quality tempered glass. Domestic glass such as jars, beer, and wine bottles, should never be used in a fire feature, it is dangerous to do so!

Fire pit fire glass can withstand harsh weather and temperatures up to 1300 degrees Fahrenheit without sustaining damage or discoloration.

Top-quality fire glass does not emit any harmful chemicals, smoke, soot, or ash.

Fire Glass manufactured by American Fire Glass has a Lifetime Warranty.

How Much Fire Glass Do I Need?

You don’t need to exclusively use fire glass to fill your fire pit tray. Using a more cost-effective filler, either at to same level as the burner or slightly above it, can help reduce costs. You can then add fire glass on top of the lava rock to complete the look.

For example, in a typical 2-inch deep fire pit tray, you would use about 1 inch of lava rock as the base and then add approximately 1 inch or so of fire glass on top.

Lava rock is both lighter per cubic foot and more budget-friendly compared to glass. For instance, 10 pounds of lava rock can cover approximately twice the area that 10 pounds of fire glass would cover.
