1/2 Inch Cobalt Reflective Fire Glass by American Fire Products is a deeply saturated shade of true blue that commands attention. The mirrored facet catches the light, creating a striking interplay of deep shadows and brilliant highlights that transforms the textural depth of the fire glass. Perfect for poolside settings or any feature where a dramatic, powerful blue is needed.
The 1/2″ size suits larger fire pits and is typically recommended for indoor fireplaces running on natural gas, as the bigger pieces leave more air pockets and create less back pressure on the gas. It is also the better choice for outdoor propane features: propane is heavier than air, and the extra space helps it rise and disperse. The exception is a burner with nozzles designed to stay uncovered, where the glass size doesn’t affect the gas flow. A finer 1/4 Inch Cobalt Reflective Fire Glass is also available, popular for smaller fire features.
