1/2 Inch Gray Reflective Fire Glass by American Fire Products adds a sophisticated touch to any fire feature. The brooding, cool gray tones provide a neutral base, and the mirrored facets create a soft shimmer that complements stone, metal, and wood alike. A seamless fit for both sleek, modern spaces and organic, natural settings.
The 1/2″ size suits larger fire pits and is typically recommended for indoor fireplaces running on natural gas, as the bigger pieces leave more air pockets and create less back pressure on the gas. It is also the better choice for outdoor propane features: propane is heavier than air, and the extra space helps it rise and disperse. The exception is a burner with nozzles designed to stay uncovered, where the glass size doesn’t affect the gas flow. A finer 1/4 Inch Gray Reflective Fire Glass is also available, popular for smaller fire features.
