Tumbled Lava Stone is a modern variant of traditional lava rock with all the same qualities and benefits.

Unlike lava rock, the lava stones are rounded, smooth and regularly shaped, with a speckled finish. The beautiful color of the stones ranges from dark grey to black.

The Lava Stones are naturally created when volcanic lava and cool water meet, which causes the stones and harden. Once collected they are put through a ’tumbling’ process, removing any remaining sharp edges and enhancing their uniform shape. Of course, considering their origin, you will not be surprised to learn that they can withstand extreme temperatures without crumbling or exploding.

The smooth, more modern finish of Tumbled Lava Stone makes it incredibly versatile. It looks equally at home in a rustic-looking setting as it does in a contemporary fire pit.

Tumbled Lava Stone is safe for use in both fireplaces and fire pits, indoors and out, and is compatible with both Natural gas and Liquid Propane.

Lava Stone also retains heat far better than logs, making them more energy-efficient and cost-effective.

Available in four sizes. Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large.

Please Note: As the Stones are supplied by weight, if ordering the Extra Large size, be aware that there may only be 3 or 4 stones per bag.

Small: 0.5-1 Inch

Medium: 1-2 Inches

Large: 2-4 Inches
