These Round Flat Pan Spark Ignition Kits are manufactured by American Fireglass, using high-quality materials to ensure both quality and durability. They include a Pan, a Burner, a Spark Ignition Kit, and Gas Connections, and are available in 5 sizes: 12 inches to 36 inches in diameter.

Spark Ignition
The Spark Ignition System is a push-button system that creates a spark at the tip of the Ignition Probe to ignite the gas. It is battery-powered, so no mains electricity supply is needed.
The battery is located within the push-button itself and is easily replaceable. This is the modern civilized way to light your Gas Fire Pit. The system is easy to install and comes with complete instructions.
Gas Connections
Available in either Natural Gas or Propane, the gas connection kit provides everything you need for the basic hook-up: a gas hose to connect your gas feed to the valve, the valve, and another hose to connect to the pan.
The gas valve includes a chrome key valve cover plate and a chrome Key used to turn on the gas to the burner.
The Propane option comes with a Propane Gas Regulator (small tank)and an air mixer valve to be fitted to the underside of the fire pit tray.
The High-Capacity units are for use with Whole House Natural Gas only.
BTUs and Flame Height
BTU ratings are particularly relevant if using your domestic gas supply to fuel your fire pit. To avoid disappointment, ensure that your domestic gas supply has sufficient pressure to generate a decent flame on your fire pit. Our article on BTUs and Flame Height gives you the full lowdown.

These units are available for either Natural Gas or Liquid Propane (small tank). The Propane version includes an air mixer.
The gas inlet on the pan is 1/2″.
