Electronic ignition systems offer the highest level of safety, combined with the convenience of operating your fire feature at the flick of a switch or press of a button.

The drop-in pan features an integrated lip that rests on the fire pit opening, supporting the stainless steel burner, pilot assembly, and AWEIS valve box mounted beneath. This design simplifies installation while providing a neat, self-trimming finish.

Available in two sizes and in both Natural Gas and Propane configurations, this kit is ideal for a wide range of residential and commercial applications.

AWEIS Electronic Ignition System

The AWEIS system is specifically engineered for outdoor fire features, delivering reliable ignition and continuous flame monitoring in all weather conditions.

Using hot-surface ignition with an intermittent pilot sequence, the system detects the presence of flame at all times. If the flame is lost, it will automatically attempt re-ignition. If unsuccessful, the gas supply is shut off as a safety precaution.

The system can be wired to a wall switch or paired with an optional remote control for simple on/off operation. A manual gas shut-off valve should always be installed upstream and turned off when not in use.

Round Drop-In Pan and Burner Construction

Each kit includes a round drop-in pan and matching ring burner, both constructed from 100% 304 stainless steel for durability in outdoor environments.

The drop-in design features a built-in lip that sits on the fire pit opening, creating a clean finished edge while fully supporting the burner and ignition components below. This makes it an ideal solution for quick installation and retrofit projects.

Installation Considerations

These kits are designed for outdoor, vented fire features only.

Before selecting your size:

• Confirm available gas supply and BTU capacity
• Ensure proper ventilation, minimum 18 square inches on two opposing sides
• Allow at least 1 cubic foot of space beneath the pan for ignition components
• Include adequate drainage to prevent water accumulation

Installation by a certified NFI professional is strongly recommended.
