Rectangular Flat Fire Pit Kit with Electronic Ignition

This is a CSA-Certified Electronic Ignition Fire Pit Kit from The Outdoor Plus uses the SWEIS unit which stands for Smart Weather Electronic Ignition System.

The SWEIS units have been tested in rain, snow, and 50+ mph winds. The Flame Sensing function monitors the flame and should it extinguish the system will make several attempts to relight it. Only if this fails will the gas be shut off for safety.

Options

18 Sizes – 9 different lengths available in 2 widths, 12 inches, and 18 inches.
Two Ignition Options – The Plug & Play 110 Volts, and the Low Voltage 12 Volts.

Ignition

The two Ignition Options relate to the Voltage. Both are suitable for either natural gas or liquid propane applications.

The clearance needed below the pans is 10″ however, this increases to 15″ for the larger sizes requiring a manifold.

The simplest way to operate the fire feature is to wire the SWEIS to an on/off switch located somewhere best suited for your convenience. For more options, see below.

A gas shut-off valve must always be installed for emergency shut-downs and maintenance. It is recommended that the valve be closed when the fire feature is not in operation to prevent accidental ignition.

Plug & Play 110 Volt

This option is ideal for any fire feature except those within 5 feet of water. It utilizes a 3-prong grounded plug, making for a simple installation. Hence the name.

The Units can be wired up to a standard light switch, a dial timer or an emergency stop button, and a smart house system. A Remote Control system add-on is available.

Low Voltage 12V

This option is for fire features within 5 feet of water, such as swimming pools or fountains. This Kit includes a transformer.

The Units can be wired up to an on/off switch, a timer, a remote control, a pool controller, or a smart house system. An Android and Apple iOS compatible Bluetooth Control System is also available.

Rectangular Flat Fire Pit Kit with Electronic Ignition Specifications

The Flat Pan is made from Aluminum with an H-burner manufactured from 304 Stainless Steel.

The length of the burner increases as the fire pit pans get longer, however, the burner is always 6″ wide for all size options.

The H-burners of the 72″, 84″, and 96″ length pans have an additional crossbar(H) with a gas inlet for proper gas distribution and require a manifold.
