The Rectangular Flat Fire Pit Kit with Electronic Ignition by The Outdoor Plus (TOP) is designed to create a broader, evenly distributed flame pattern, making it well-suited to wider fire pit designs where a fuller visual presence is preferred. Within the TOP range, this rectangular configuration features an aluminum pan paired with an H-style bullet burner, producing distinct jets of flame for a more defined and visually structured flame pattern compared to traditional burner designs.
The flat pan design is suited to installations where a fully integrated, minimal appearance is required. With no visible lip or edge, the pan is supported below the finished surface of the fire pit, allowing the burner and pan to be concealed once the fire media is in place. This approach requires built-in support within the structure, making it best suited to more considered or custom builds where a clean, uninterrupted finish is the priority.
Configured for electronic ignition, this kit provides consistent and dependable lighting, along with built-in safety features that monitor flame presence and automatically shut off the gas supply if the flame is lost. Electronic ignition offers a high level of control and flexibility, from simple wall switches or timers to integration with pool controllers, smart home systems, or optional remote and Wi-Fi controls. A choice of burner configurations, sizes, voltage options, and fuel types allows the system to be tailored to suit different project requirements while maintaining a consistent rectangular flame presentation.

Product Specification
The pan is made from aluminum with an H-burner manufactured from .304 Stainless Steel.
The H-burners of the 72″, 84″, and 96″ length pans have an additional crossbar(H) with a gas inlet for proper gas distribution.
As the length of the fire pit pan increases, the burner length and BTU output increase accordingly to maintain consistent flame performance across sizes.
Sizes and BTU Rating

Installation Considerations
For outdoor use only.
Electronic ignition systems require a minimum of 10″ clearance below the pan. With a manifold, this increases to 15″.
A gas shut-off valve must be installed externally for emergency and maintenance access. A gas key valve is recommended to allow manual flame control.
Proper ventilation of the fire pit enclosure is essential for cooling and venting residual gas. A minimum of two vents on opposing sides is required, each with at least 18 sq. inches of free air space.
Adequate drainage must be provided to prevent water accumulation within the enclosure.
