Push Button Spark Ignition Kits are easy to install, battery powered, and simple to use.

All American Fireglass fire pit pans and trays have a removable plate in the base of the tray to locate the spark ignitor probe. As the positioning of the Ignition Probe is vital for fire pit burner to ignite properly the pre-cut access hole makes retrofitting the system relatively simple.

The Ignition Probe connects via an electrical cable to the push button unit, which also houses the battery neatly out of sight.

 

 

 

 

 

How To Use a Fire Pit Push Button Spark Igniter

Lighting your fire pit is simple. Turn on the gas using the Key Valve, allow a short period for the gas to flow, and then push on the spark ignition button.

The Flame height can be controlled with the key valve. The fire pit is turned off by turning the key valve all the way, shutting off the gas supply.

With a Push Button Spark Ignition Kit, there is no more messing around with matches or tapers.
