Match-Lit Flame-Sensing Fire Pit Kits by The Outdoor Plus provide basic manual ignition via a match or kitchen lighter, and combine this with an integrated flame-sensing system. This system continuously monitors the burner and automatically shuts off the gas supply if the flame extinguishes, ensuring peace of mind. Furthermore, the burner incorporates the new Aqua Guard feature, protecting the system against water ingress.
The Gas Valve box is fitted within a recessed panel with a face plate, facilitating installation.

Stainless Steel vs All-Brass
While the all-brass Bullet Burner is available, the stainless steel version is a more cost-effective gas ring while retaining the crucial patented brass nozzles. The design is more accessible without sacrificing performance.
Options
Select Size
Five sizes are available: a 24″, a 36″, a 48″, a 60″, and a 72″.
Select Gas Type
The kits are available with options for use with natural gas or propane. Be sure to select the correct one for your setup; they are not interchangeable.
Operation
- To Light: Simultaneously press the valve control knob and use a lit taper or kitchen lighter to ignite the pilot flame. Keep the valve control knob open for another 20 seconds or so. Turn the control knob to the ON position to light the main burner.
- Flame Adjustment: The flame height can be adjusted using the valve control knob.
- Shut Down: Turn control knob to the “OFF” position.

The Drop-In Pan is crafted from durable 304 stainless steel and features a Linear Bullet Burner of the same high-quality material. The burner’s bullet tips remain Brass for enhanced performance.
The pan is a constant 8″ wide; the length is determined by the size ordered.
The kit size refers to the internal diameter of the pan, excluding the 1″ lip. The pan is 2.5″ deep.
