These Guards are designed to complement the AFP Linear Drop-In Kits. However, they are compatible with other Brands, as long as you adhere to the recommended minimum clearance of 2.5″ on all sides between the edges of the burn area and the glass.

Important: The official AFP guard sizes refer to the size of the pans they are designed to fit, which can be somewhat confusing. For clarity, we use the assembled dimensions. Please note that the packaging will reference the official AFP size, the pan size the guard is designed to fit.

- Size 41.5″ x 11.5″ designed for the Linear Drop-In Pan Size 36″ x 6″ – Split Panel Design

No more fire blow outs from the wind. The fire reflects nicely off the glass that gives an additional glow. The Fire wind guard is high quality and very easy to assemble. My concern was for this product to make it from the West coast to the East coast with no damage. This company’s packaging is very strong and secure. No worries there.

Just what we needed to enjoy our fire pit on windy days.
We built a custom outdoor “fire table” this summer and after installing a 48×6 burner it soon became apparent that we would also need a wind guard. With the flames down low any breeze would blow them over the side of the pan and cause soot marks. A higher flame and higher wind made ‘downwind’ diners wish they didn’t have a beard! I was concerned with how well glass would survive shipment, when our package arrived there was no need for any concern. The wind guard is shipped ready for assembly and EXTREMELY well packaged. It comes in a custom built wooden shipping box with internal foam packing and small cork pieces to keep everything safe, secure, and well separated. Once unpacked it took all of five minutes to assemble, screwdriver is the only tool needed. We are very satisfied with the wind guard for our linear burner
