This HPC Round Ready-to-Finish Fire Pit Enclosure delivers a complete fire pit package in 45-inch and 54-inch diameters, standing 18 inches high. The fully assembled housing with pre-installed HardieBoard walls serves as a blank canvas, allowing you to tailor the exterior appearance using tile, paint, or stone cladding. With code-compliant integrated ventilation, along with a CSA-certified insert, this DIY unit removes construction guesswork so you can move straight to applying your final finish. All that is required on-site is bringing your gas line to the location.
Designed for consistent results and faster installation, this approach is widely used in both contractor-led and DIY projects.
The commercial-grade core utilizes a .065 mild steel welded frame wrapped in a 1/2-inch Hardie Board shell, featuring pre-cut openings for ventilation plates. Each kit comes supplied with a fully assembled, CSA-certified HPC round insert, offering multiple burner styles and ignition options tailored to your gas supply.

Options
Select Gas Type
There are two models, one for use with Natural Gas and the other for Propane. They are not interchangeable.
Select Size
This model is available in two diameters:
- 45″ Diameter × 18″ Height
- 54″ Diameter × 18″ Height
Each size is paired with a proportionally matched round insert and burner to maintain a balanced flame within the enclosure.
Select Burner Type
- Standard Penta Burner: A traditional burner that is designed to create a natural, campfire-style flame pattern. Rather than forming a simple ring, the Penta design distributes the flame across multiple points, resulting in an organic flame presentation.
- Torpedo Penta Burner: An upgraded version fitted with precision-engineered nozzles. This produces a taller, more defined flame while maintaining efficient gas usage. This option is often selected where a stronger visual flame is desired.
Select Ignition
HPC keeps ignition options focused and practical, with three systems to suit different installation requirements.
Match Lit – CSA Certified
A simple, manual system operated using a key valve. The burner is lit with a long match or lighter, with flame adjustment controlled at the valve.
Push Button Ignition – CSA Certified
Battery-powered ignition using a spark probe and control panel. Includes flame-sensing technology that automatically shuts off the gas supply if the flame is extinguished.
A practical option where added safety is required, but mains power is not available. The flame height can be adjusted using the knob on the control panel.
Electronic Ignition On/Off – CSA Certified
An automated ignition system designed for installations with access to power. Provides reliable ignition and integrated flame monitoring.
Suitable for projects where convenience and consistent operation are priorities.
The Electronic Ignition will automatically relight if the flame is blown out.
120VAC
Typically operated via a wall switch or by Remote Control – not included. It can also be wired to a timer, an emergency stop button, or your whole-house system.
LOW VOLTAGE – 24VAC
24VACis suitable for fire features near water and is commonly used in poolside installations.
Typically operated via a wall switch, it can also be wired into a timer, the pool controller, or your whole-house system.
A Class II 24VAC, 4-amp, 100 W transformer must be used to power the fire pit. HPC highly recommends the HPC SEBCO 24VAC Power Supply

All core components are shipped assembled and ready for installation. The fire pit insert, burner, and ignition system are also pre-assembled but shipped separately to prevent damage in transit and to simplify handling during installation.
Installation Considerations
- Adequate drainage must be provided within the enclosure to prevent water build-up
- Ventilation openings must not be obstructed
- Gas supply must be sized appropriately for the selected BTU output
Cladding Requirements
The exterior surface arrives ready for custom finishing using your choice of natural stone, tile, stucco, or other non-combustible cladding to seamlessly match your landscape. These finishing materials are not included.

Warranty coverage includes:

- Stainless steel components: up to 5 years (residential)
