HPC Rectangular Ready to Finish Fire Pit Enclosure Kits
This 60 x 24 inch Rectangular Ready-to-Finish Fire Pit Form by HPC provides everything you need for your firepit with the exception of the finishing touches, allowing you the flexibility to adorn its exterior with a material of your preference. This feature enables you to blend the enclosure with its surroundings.
Pre-fabricated fire pit structures offer several advantages. They significantly reduce construction time, making them perfect for contractors, hardscape companies, and even DIY enthusiasts. Additionally, all component parts are meticulously designed to seamlessly work and fit together, ensuring a quick, hassle-free installation process.
The 60″ x 24″ Fire Pit Enclosure stands a comfortable 18 inches tall, ideal for seating areas.
The HPC Rectangular Ready To Finish Fire Pit Enclosure Kits are commercial-grade and boast a sturdy 065 Mild Steel Welded Frame with a 1/2″ Cement Board Shell finish. The cement board is pre-cut for the Vents, Inserts, and Ignition Systems allowing for easy installation.
The Inserts with their respective Burners and Ignition Systems are fully assembled and CSA Certified.
The Enclosure is supplied with your choice of fully assembled Insert, Burner, Ignition System, Cement Board, Steel Framed Enclosure, and Stainless Steel Vents.
Options
Gas Type
There are two models, one for use with Natural Gas the other for Propane. They are not interchangeable.
Ignition
There are three options, Match Lit, Push Button Flame Sensing, and the ON/OFF Electronic Ignition. For further details click on the corresponding arrows below.
Match Lit
The Match Lit system utilizes the chrome key valve installed on the fire pit structure to light the burner.
Simply turn the key to the on position and light the gas with a match, taper, or lighter. The flame can be adjusted and turned off using the key valve.
Push Button Flame Sensing
Ignited via a spark probe, with the push button on the the valve control panel.
A flame monitoring system automatically cuts off the gas if the flame is extinguished.
This battery-operated system is a good solution when flame sensing is necessary but AC power is unavailable.
Electronic Ignition On/Off
The Electronic Ignition has Flame Sensing but will also automatically attempt to relight if the flame is blown out.
24VAC is typically used poolside or with other lower voltage requirements.
This system is not suitable for use with small propane tanks.
120 VAC
This model allows your fire pit to be switched On and Off by a wall switch, timer, your whole house system, or by Remote Control which in this case is an optional extra and only suitable for the 120 VAC models.
24 VAC
This model allows your fire pit to be switched On and Off by a wall switch or your whole house system.
A Class II 24VAC, 4 amp, 100 W transformer must be used to power the fire pit and be able to be switched on and off from a remote location to allow for easy access or emergency. HPC highly recommends the HPC SEBCO 24VAC Power Supply
Insert
The Inserts are fitted with the latest type of Burner known as the Torpedo, fitted with precision-engineered nozzles, which according to HPC develop a bigger, warmer flame without excessive gas consumption. For more detailed information on these, please refer to the Torpedo Burner Page.
There are three Types of Insert, the Rectangular Insert with H burner, the Linear Trough Insert with T Burner, and the Interlink Insert with T Burner. Each type of Insert has two size options. The enclosure size remains the same regardless of the Insert.
Rectangular Insert with H Burner
This rectangular-shaped Insert is fitted with an H Burner named after its shape as seen from above. Two burner legs run parallel to each other down the length of the Insert creating a double-width flame.
The Insert has a lip sits on the top surface of the enclosure framing the burn area.
The Insert comes in two sizes.
- 30″ x 12″ with a 24″ x 6″ H Burner
- 36″ x 14″ with a 30″ x 8″ H Burner
Linear Trough Insert with T Burner
This is also a rectangular-shaped Insert but due to the type of burner is more commonly known as a Linear Insert. No matter its length, the width remains constant. The T burner is a single, linear burner that runs down the length of the Insert creating a long, narrow flame.
The Insert has a lip sits on the top surface of the enclosure framing the burn area.
The Insert comes in two sizes.
- 36″ x 8″ with a 35.5″ T Burner
- 48″ x 8″ with a 47.5″ T Burner
Linear Interlink Insert with T Burner
Similar to the Linear Trough but designed without a lip. The Insert is not visible once the fire media is installed.
The Insert comes in two sizes.
- 37″ x 8″ with a 36″ T Burner
- 49″ x 8″ with a 48″ T Burner
