This is a replacement control system for HPC Fire Electronic Ignition Hi/Low fire pit inserts and burner kits.
Before starting, you will need to identify the exact part you are replacing. To do this, locate the serial number and relevant specification details on your existing valve box, which is typically suspended beneath the burner pan or insert. The system information can be found on a plate attached to the valve box.
You must select the correct options to ensure an exact replacement. Incorrect selections will result in an incompatible unit. Please note that this listing is for the Hi/lo Control Systems. Please view the listing for the replacement of On/Off Control Systems.
This replacement Electronic Ignition FCS box for Hi/Lo units is supplied fully assembled and ready for installation. This component replaces the control system equipment mounted beneath your existing burner pan, and includes a replacement antenna and remote control handset; it does not include the burner & pan.

Options
Select Size
This refers to the size of the insert itself, which is not on the specification plate. The control system is configured differently for Small Insert/Pan sizes between 13″ and 19″ in diameter than for the Large Inserts/Pans greater than 19″. Only HPC round or square pans have sizes that fall into the Small category, as the Linear Troughs, Interlinks, and Rectangular H Burner Inserts start from 24″ long and therefore fall into the Large category.
Select Burner
The HPC EI Insert range is available with two types of burners: a traditional drilled-hole burner or a Torpedo-style burner with nozzles.
Select Gas Type
The system is configured for Natural Gas or Propane; they are not interchangeable.
Select Voltage
There are two voltage options: 110 VAC and the low-voltage 24 VAC.
Select BTU Rating
There are 18 different BTU ratings; the systems are finely tuned, so ensure you select the correct one.
