The simplest way is with our Fire Glass Calculator. At minimum, your burner should be covered with 1.5″–4″ of glass. If you’re using a drop-in tray, fill it until the surface is level with the tray’s edge.

Installation & Care:

Simply pour the fire glass gently into your fire feature—never pack it down. Routine maintenance is minimal. For outdoor setups, occasional buildup of dust or rain residue can occur. To refresh the glass, rinse it in a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar, let it dry, and it’s ready to go back in place.
