1/2 Inch Pacific Blue Classic Fire Glass by American Fire Products captures the calm of an ocean under clear skies. The fragmented pieces catch the light gently, letting the flames dance across a tranquil blue.
The 1/2″ size is typically recommended for indoor fireplaces running on natural gas, as the bigger pieces leave more air pockets and create less back pressure on the gas. It is also the better choice for outdoor propane features: propane is heavier than air, and the extra space helps it rise and disperse. The exception is a burner with nozzles designed to stay uncovered, where the glass size doesn’t affect the gas flow.
