1/2 Inch Gray Classic Fire Glass by American Fire Products brings understated elegance with its soft, smoky tone. The subtle shimmer complements both modern and rustic designs, and under firelight the cool gray glows like embers against stone.
The 1/2″ size is typically recommended for indoor fireplaces running on natural gas, as the bigger pieces leave more air pockets and create less back pressure on the gas. It is also the better choice for outdoor propane features: propane is heavier than air, and the extra space helps it rise and disperse. The exception is a burner with nozzles designed to stay uncovered, where the glass size doesn’t affect the gas flow.
