1/2 Inch Cobalt Blue Classic Fire Glass by American Fire Products brings a vibrant, deep blue to your fire feature. Each fragmented piece captures the warm glow of the flames, for bold color with timeless appeal.
The 1/2″ size is typically recommended for indoor fireplaces running on natural gas, as the bigger pieces leave more air pockets and create less back pressure on the gas. It is also the better choice for outdoor propane features: propane is heavier than air, and the extra space helps it rise and disperse. The exception is a burner with nozzles designed to stay uncovered, where the glass size doesn’t affect the gas flow.
