This system incorporates a high level of gas safety by constantly monitoring the flame. Should the flame unexpectedly extinguish, it will initiate multiple attempts to reignite; only if these attempts are unsuccessful will the gas supply be safely and automatically shut off.

For ultimate convenience, you can effortlessly manage your fire pit’s operation through a variety of control options. These range from the simplest — an ON/OFF switch, Electric Timer, or Emergency Stop Button — to more advanced methods like wireless remote controls, smart wireless light switches, or even full integration with your existing swimming pool or home automation system.

Low Voltage – DC – (TOP-500EIS-200-30DC)

Ideal for installations situated within five feet of water features such as swimming pools, fountains, or other aquatic elements.

This configuration includes the electronic valve, pilot igniter, and a dedicated external transformer capable of powering up to two fire features.

Plug and Play – DC – (TOP-500EIS-200-30DC-110V)

This unit comes complete with the pilot igniter and an electronic valve, featuring a standard 3-prong plug for straightforward setup.

Basic operation of the fire feature is managed via an external ON/OFF switch, which is wired directly into the electrical supply line.

Further Information

Fuel Compatibility: Compatible with both Natural Gas (NG) and Liquid Propane (LP), whether from a portable LP tank or a hard-lined LP system.

Venting Requirements: All gas fire pit enclosures necessitate a minimum of 18 square inches of ventilation on two opposing sides. Higher BTU units or those with extended operating hours may require increased ventilation.

LP Applications: For liquid propane setups, fire media smaller than 1/2″ is not recommended.

Propane Air Mixer: An air mixer is advised for optimal performance with propane burners.

Mandatory Shutoff: Installation of a listed manual gas shutoff device is required prior to the appliance’s location.

Heat Protection: A heat shield/plate or burner pan must be installed between the ignition unit and the burner ring to prevent overheating.

Professional Installation: Installation and servicing of this product must be performed exclusively by a qualified installer, service agent, or your local gas supplier.
