Returns and Refunds Policy
Is Your Item Eligible for a Return?
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unused, unassembled, and in their original, intact packaging.
- Requested for return within 30 days of delivery.
- Shipped back to us within 14 days of receiving your return approval.
What Can't Be Returned?
Unfortunately, some items aren’t eligible for returns, including:
- Used or Assembled Products: This covers anything that’s been installed, used, or put together.
- Custom Products: Special-order, custom-made, modified, or assembled-to-order items.
- Items Marked Non-Returnable: Products with a “non-returnable” designation in their description.
- Specific Brands: This includes American Fyre Designs, The Outdoor Plus, Prism Hardscapes, Warming Trends, Fire by Design, plus certain HPC fire pit kits and other made-to-order products.
- Late Requests: Any products requested outside the 30-day return window
Manufacturer Defects & Shipping Damage
If you suspect a manufacturer defect or your item arrived damaged from shipping, we’ll first try to help you repair the product. If a repair isn’t reasonably possible, we may assist with a replacement. In these situations, our standard shipping policy or the manufacturer’s warranty process will apply.
How to Start a Return
Ready to return an item? Please send an email to sales@themagicoffire.com to request approval. Once approved, we’ll send you a Return Authorization (RA), along with your return labels and detailed instructions. If your original order shipped via freight, your return must also be sent via freight.
- Approval: After you submit your request, you’ll get a confirmation email with the next steps. We might ask for photos to approve your return.
- Return Documents: Once approved, we’ll provide all necessary return labels, your Return Authorization, and packaging instructions.
- Shipping Timeline: Make sure approved returns are shipped back to us within 14 days of your approval date.
- Freight Returns: For freight returns, we might need a photo of the items before authorization. The items must be securely palletized, and we’ll need photos of them ready for pickup.
To protect your item, ensure it’s packaged in its original outer and inner packaging, and that all parts, manuals, and packing slips are included.
Refunds & Shipping Costs
Refunds are processed only after your return has been inspected.
- Shipping costs for both the original outbound shipment and the return shipment will be deducted from your refund.
- MarkCorp (The Magic Of Fire ) reserves the right to charge a restocking fee depending on the condition of the returned item, or the terms of the manufacturer, if shipped directly by them.
- Items returned outside our specified process or timeframe may not be eligible for a refund. Similarly, items returned without following our process are not eligible for a refund.
After inspection, your refund will be processed. The exact processing time will vary based on your payment method.
