These American Fire Products Kits comprise a rectangular pan with a pre-installed H-Burner, both of which increase in width for every step-up in length.
Match Light ignition is the most straightforward system to install, operate, and maintain. When paired with a drop-in style pan, it provides a simple setup process for your outdoor fire feature. Ideal for DIY projects.
This basic kit provides the essential components for use in outdoor, vented installations ONLY.
Options
This kit is available in four sizes, with dedicated configurations for either Natural Gas or Propane (20lb bottle/tank).
Easy to Install
The drop-in pan design ensures a straightforward installation. The base of the pan drops into a cutout in the top of the fire pit structure, with the lip seated on the surface supporting the pan.

Pan & Burner
- Both Pan & Burner are manufactured from high-quality 304 stainless steel and built to withstand extreme heat and harsh weather conditions.
- The pan features a removable cover plate in a designated location, allowing for the easy installation of a spark ignition system at a later date.
- Weep holes in the base of the pan help prevent water from accumulating.
Gas Connections
- Natural Gas option – 34″ Quiet-Flex Gas Line with safety shut-off valve and required fittings.
- Propane option – 36″ 3/8″ Rubber Gas Hose, with straight ball valve, 175,000 BTU propane tank regulator, and the fittings include an air mixer.

Sizes correspond to the internal dimensions of the pan and do not include the 1.25″ lip. The pan is 2″ deep. 1/2″ Gas Inlet.
- 18″ x 6″ rated 70,000 BTUs requires cutout 19″ x 7″ with *Fire Glass 20lbs
- 28″ x 8″ rated 120,000 BTUs requires cutout 29″ x 9″ with *Fire Glass 25lbs
- 30″ x 10″ rated 125,000 BTUs requires cutout 31″ x 11″ with *Fire Glass 35lbs
- 36″ x 12″ rated 165,000 BTUs requires cutout 37″ x 13″ with *Fire Glass 50lbs
