Cazo Fire Bowls - GFRC Concrete
The GFRC Cazo Fire Pit Bowl is manufactured by The Outdoor Plus Company at their facility in California.
These round fire bowls with their angular profile have a contemporary aesthetic and are handcrafted from color-matched GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete).
Manufacturing Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete Fire Bowls results in a much lighter, but more robust product than standard concrete. Glass fibers set into the concrete prevent distortion, cracking, and rust and the color is cast throughout the concrete.
Options
Select Gas Type
Be sure to select the correct gas type as the Natural Gas setup cannot be used with Propane and vice a versa.
Select Ignition
Match Lit
The Match Lit system requires a gas valve (not included) such as a chrome key valve to be installed, within arms reach of the fire bowl, to light the burner.
Then you simply turn the key to the on position and light the gas with a match, taper, or lighter. The flame can be adjusted and turned off using the key valve.
Electronic Ignition - Low Voltage (CSA Certified)
This is a low-voltage system, making it safe for use near water features, fountains, and similar installations. It is also ideal for use with fire pits around pools.
The Electronic Ignition system incorporates flame-sensing technology and will automatically make attempts to relight the burner if the flame is blown out.
The Units can be wired up to an on/off switch, a timer, a remote control, a pool controller, or a smart house system. An upgrade that includes a Bluetooth system is available. It is compatible with both Android and Apple iOS.
Select Color
Choosing the color – Because a GFRC fire bowl is made to order, there will be slight variations in each order’s final color and texture.
Once you have selected your color, we recommend that you request a sample of your color choice for your final approval. Each of The Outdoor Plus Company’s fire pits is made to order; therefore, all sales are final.

Key Valve Installation
Key Valves are not only used to manually light your burner but also control its flame height. A key valve is usually installed somewhere convenient on a fire bowl’s support structure or pedestal, in proximity to the burner.
Depending on how and where you locate your fire bowl you may prefer that a key valve be installed onto the fire bowl itself.
With electronic fire bowls, you can wire the electronic system to a light switch, add remote control, or Bluetooth app to light your fire pit, however, a key valve still provides you with the ability to control the flame height of your burner and shut off gas to the burner manually.

Upgrade to Bullet Burner
The Standard Burners can be upgraded to Bullet Burners which produce approximately twice the flame height of an equivalently rated Standard Burner.
