Stainless Steel S Burners for Fire Pits
S Burners provide the option to do something slightly different from a Linear fire pit or a Rectangular one.
The fire pit structure containing an S Burner will need to be slighter wider than a standard linear one, but not quite as wide as the equivalent length rectangular fire pit.
For example, from the HPC range of S Burners, a 48-inch long unit is 10 inches wide, whereas a 48 Inch long rectangular fire pit would be 14 inches wide.
Alternatively, The Outdoor Plus has a standard width of 6 inches throughout its S Burner range.
When considering what size burner to select, the quoted dimensions refer to the overall straight length of the burner, and the width dimension refers to the burner’s widest point, as illustrated in the following diagram.
Understand S Burner Dimensions

The burner needs to be at least six inches smaller than the fire pit structure’s length and breadth and ideally mounted on a tray or in a fire pit pan.
Stainless Steel is an ideal material for the manufacture of fire pit burners. It is extremely durable, resistant to high temperatures, and weatherproof.
The burner must always be installed with the gas holes facing up.
The S Burners in the HPC range have their gas holes closer together than usual in order to ensure creating a distinctive S shape.
The Outdoor Plus range starts at 18 inches and goes up to 120 inches in length and are manufactured at their factory in California. The HPC range is from 30 inches to 72 inches long.
If none of these fit your particular requirements, The Outdoor Plus does manufacture custom sizes. please don’t hesitate to contact us for details.
