The Round Glass Fire Pit Wind Guard Firegear is manufactured from heavy-duty 1/4” heat-resistant tempered glass with pencil grind satin edges.

The hardware is Zinc die-cast plated polished chrome with anti-slip silicone rubber feet. They are available in 23, 32, 36, 38, 48 and 60 inches in diameter

All the Round Wind Guards from Firegear Outdoors are 6 3/4 inches tall.

Dennis Smith conceived the idea of Firegear in a coffee shop in June of 2003. The company started in a small room in the basement of his home, and its first product was a small gas log set, which proved to be very popular. However, it didn't take long for Dennis to decided that the gas log business was highly competitive and oversubscribed. As a result, Firegear changed direction and concentrated 100 % on the outdoor fire products. It didn't take long for Firegear Outdoors to become one of the premier manufacturers, specializing in innovative burner systems and outdoor fire features. In 2013 Firegear was acquired by Skytech Direct Inc and continued to flourish within that partnership, as Firegears reputation for the highest quality products grew. More recently, in 2019, Firegear Direct was acquired by AMD Direct, the company responsible for the well known Summerset range of Grills.

Solid product - But Odd issues & a little misleading

I will say its a nice product, but it wasn’t the easiest transaction. First there was no shipping confirmation. I had to reach out to someone named Mark who seemed to be a middle man. He did stay on top of things and eventually got me the shipping info. But it turned out the order was delayed for an unknown reason. Once i received the order i was suprised to find out that there were no rubber feet for the wind guard as shown on the website. There is still room withou the feet, but the glass sits very close to my stone firepit which is a bit of a turn off. And finally, there was a small piece missing for me to complete the build of the windguard to which i needed to involve Mark again. It did arrive about a week later. But all of these issues was an overall turnoff in getting this.
