These Round Glass Flame Guards are designed to fit the 19″ and 25″ diameter American Fireglass Round Drop-In Pans. However, they are compatible with any fire pit, as long as you adhere to the recommended minimum clearance of 2.5″ on all sides between the edges of the burn area and the glass.
Wind Guards, also known as Fire Pit Flame Guards, are designed to shield and protect the flame in windy or exposed locations, preventing the flame from being accidentally extinguished by wind.
They are an elegant and practical solution to a common problem and will allow you to safely enjoy your fire pit in conditions that otherwise may not have been possible. We highly recommend Flame Guards for fire feature installations in windy areas.

The Kit includes the following:
- 4 Panels of 3/16″ thick Clear Tempered Glass
- Polished Aluminum Fire-Resistant Brackets
- Anti-slip rubber feet
Dimensions
There are two size options available for the glass flame guard: 23″ and 29″. These measurements refer to the diameter of the fully assembled guards. Both sizes stand 6″ high.
Important: The official names for these American Fireglass products refer to the size of the pans they are designed to fit, which can be somewhat confusing. For clarity, we use the assembled dimensions.
- The 23″ diameter (assembled) guard’s SKU is FG-RSP-19 and is designed for the 19″ Round Drop-In Pan.
- The 29″ diameter (assembled) guard’s SKU is FG-RSP-25 and is designed for the 25″ Round Drop-In Pan.
Please note that the packaging will reference the pan size the guard is designed to fit.

It is still too warm to use r
If it came with a fire wind guard it would be better
Just what we were looking for – fits our OW Lee fire table perfectly. Not as easy as it looks to put together, but patience and perseverance paid off and we got the job done
The product arrived in good shape. It was very well packed for a glass product. Went together well and performs beautifully. The grand kids can now sit around the fire pit on a windy evening without fear of getting burned.
