Propane Fire Pit Gas Connection Kit with Spark Ignition

Manufactured by American Fire Glass this kit contains all you need to connect your fire pit burner to a standard LP 20 lb Gas Bottle (not to a ‘whole-house’ propane system).

The Fire Pit Spark Ignition Kit allows the user to light the flames by pushing a button without needing a match or lit taper.

The Propane Fire Pit Gas Connection Kit Comprises:

• Two 3/8” Hoses with 1/2” fittings on each end
• 1/2” Standard Capacity Key Valve
• A Chrome Key Valve, Cover Plate, and Key
• An Air Mixer Valve
• A Propane Regulator for 1/2″ Propane Gas Application

The Fire Pit Spark Ignition Kit comprises a Push Button Spark Igniter & Probe to be installed in the pan in the location provided under the removable cover plate as shown in the image below.

Installation of the Propane Fire Pit Connection Kit

Installing the Gas Connection Kit is quick and easy. The Gas Key Valve must be installed with the arrow on the valve pointing in the direction of the gas flow, i.e. the arrow toward the fire pit burner.

With a Propane Installation, the Air Mixer Valve is installed between the base of your fire pit tray and the gas hose which connects to the gas key valve. The air mixer and gas valve are marked with an arrow that must point in the direction the gas will be traveling, i.e. the arrow points towards the fire pit tray/burner.

As with all Gas Installations, we strongly recommend you contract the services of a Certified Gas Technician to install all Gas equipment.
