Square Fire Pit Wind Guards

Glass Fire Pit Wind Guards are specifically crafted to protect the American Fireglass Rectangular Drop-In Pans. The Wind Guards are 6″ high, ideal for gusty, windy, or exposed locations.

Wind Guards are also considered a safety feature as they provide a barrier to the flames. Not only does this particularly appeal to parents, especially those with young children but it also reduces the chances of items being blown in during use or drinks being knocked over into the flames.

When ordering your Fire Pit Flame Guard, there are two sizes to consider.

If you are buying one to work with an American Fire Glass Square Drop-In Pan then look for your Pan’s size below and order the corresponding Guard size.

If you are buying a Wind Guard to work with another brand of Pan then order the size with the appropriate footprint dimension.

• Drop-In Pan Size 12″ x 12″    Footprint size of the Wind Guard 17.5″ x 17.5″

• Drop-In Pan Size 18″ x 18″    Footprint size of the Wind Guard 23.5″ x 23.5″

• Drop-In Pan Size 24″ x 24″    Footprint size of the Wind Guard 29.5″ x 29.5″

• Drop-In Pan Size 30″ x 30″    Footprint size of the Wind Guard 35.5″ x 35.5″

The Wind Guards are constructed of 3/16 inch tempered safety glass with polished edges and chrome corner brackets. They are available for use with Rectangular, Square and Linear Drop In Trays, are easily assembled in minutes and come with an American Fireglass 5 Year Warranty.

We recommend the use of our Wind Guard Kits in all Drop In fire feature installations located in breezy or windy areas.

American Fireglass Wind Guards are fully compatible with their range of Fire Pit Lids. These lids can be installed and removed without have to first remove the Wind Guard.
